I acknowledge it looks different, but it was clear to me the first time I looked at the washed out photo that it was black and blue.

You are still not getting the argument.
The dress in the bottom picture IS BLACK AND BLUE but due to shitty lighting and a terrible camera, MAY appear gold, blue, or brown (And apparently white for the tards
).

Yeah, the bottom dress just has a sheen to it which reflects light. Causing a disturbance in the eyes of those who dont process light well. Creating a Gold and White affect.
Those two dresses are on the same palette, one has light reflecting from it, the other doesnt.

I'm not saying the colors look the same. I'm saying my brain can tell the "white and gold" pic is not what the color actually is. Therefore, when I'm asked what color the dress is, I can say blue and black even though Photoshop won't say those colors are blue and black.
Since we should by now all agree the actual colors are blue and black in reality, this should be how everyone sees it.

It does not. I can't for the life of me see anything but white and gold. No matter how long I look, or how much I change the brightness or what angle I look at it.
