Someone who is super-setting a ton of different exercises. No, you don't get to hog the different equipment all at once when you are alone. I'm using whatever one I want that nobody is using. I'm sitting there until I'm finished with all of my sets.

Your gym only has 1 squat barbell?

Then why not move one to the squat rack?

He was posted up right in front of the squat rack. Took the squat rack barbell. Did deadlifts at the entrance to the squat rack for 45 minutes. There's an area to the right of the squat rack to do cleans, snatches, deadlifts, etc. Only time I've been pissed about someone hogging a station.

ETA: Probably could have explained it better.

Asians dressed in Polos, cargo shorts, and Chuck Taylor's. They spend more time in the dressing room than working out.

Older guy in the gym I use will put weights on the bench press, do like 3-5 reps, then walks away without re-racking. It bothers me some, but I mainly think it's just inconsiderate of him

When I go to the gym, my goal is to be sweating my arse off during that trip. Don't see where I have much opportunity to hit on chicks on that situation

The only girls in my gym are sponsored by a local nutrition shop and do contests. No thanks

To answer the thread, I hate the dudes that stand around the sauna/steam room just waiting for someone to use it so they can have someone to talk to

I don't want to talk to anyone when I go into that little box of hell.

Also when you get out of one, close the door as quickly as possible, don't let all the heat out

My coworker does a big circuit where she'll go 5-10 minutes in between sets on a particular piece of equipment. I do supersets between 2 exercises (I usually have a partner so it works well). Other day, I'm walking up about to finish my last set and she's about to change out the attachment on the machine. I ask "Hey, I've just got 1 more set. Can I finish it out and then you can have it?" She answers "no... why do you think your shite is more important than mine??" I later got lectured by her friends that she vented to about how I shouldn't be rude in the gym.

k in the gym after a 2 month hiatus. Figure I'll take advantage before the New Year's resolutions start to take over the place....which reminded me...

Pussies who take 2 month breaks and then come back asking for a spot, while explaining they took a break otherwise they'd be confident and able to finish their bench set of 85 pounds without a spot, but this is just in case, since I did take that break I told you about

After I've done all my weightlifting I'll do supersets on different machines, but I don't "reserve" them. If someone is using it, I'll wait for them to be done or just do something else entirely.

People who sit on machines like a park bench during breaks in sets.

Old dudes in the locker room who walk @ without a towel.

Mine only has one smith machine to do squats and deadlifts. Has plenty of benches and Preacher curl benches. Pissed me off to no end on leg day when some peckerwood does bench press and curls on it for an hour. It's the only gym in my town so I just have to deal with it. If I go at 5AM then I usually have the gym to myself.

I get to the gym at 5am when it opens each time I go so I don't have to worry about other people occupying equipment

Although one thing that bugs me is that since I joined back in Janaury there has been this asian kid who I have seen do nothing but dumbell curls with a 30 pound weight. That's all he does. Nothing else. He does a lot of sets but I have not seen him do anything else in the last 9 months. Hasn't gone up in weight. I've always wanted to ask him what his goal is.

There is also this guy who comes in and does about 15 sets of bench press. I have no idea how many he does becuase I get my entire workout in while he is just benching so I don't know how long he goes. Does he not realize that there is a point where if you do too many sets you are only hurting, not helping, yourself?
