Today, 4 years ago on the way home from work, I passed out driving. Thank God I didn't wreck. Got home and the wife took one look at me and called 911. I was the walking dead. The real deal. By the next morning, I had a metal box installed in my chest to keep the ticker ticking. It's been a rough road learning to live a new life. To this day, I still push myself like there is no tomorrow.
18 months ago, three cardo transplant doctors gave me less then 6 months to live. I told them to get me back on my feet and that they are fired. I thank God again for the extra time I have with my family. So, tomorrow I will break bread with my family to give thanks in the Lords name as I do the first thing every morning when I wake up.

I'm thankful for all the blessings God has bestowed in my life. For the minor trials in life placed before me that have taught me to trust more in Him that things will work themselves out the way they should.
