It's a dirty vodka martini. Gin Martinis are few and far between for me.

I'm just letting you know that, although you only recently joined, I've learned a lot from you. Thanks.

I still wonder if I can drink some.

Paige, I did this for a long time. But I found out (the hard way) that I could not. I do not speak about drinking to my drinking friends unless they initiate the conversation (and then only if they are sober). It's a decision that each person has to make for themselves. I wish you the best in making your decisions.

As trite as it sounds (and I hated all of the slogans) the truth is I only have to be concerned about today. I am impressed that you have this figured out so early into the process. Just hang in there and if I can ever do anything for you, just let me know. Owlvis has my email and he can share it with you. Just don't tell Skillet, it would break his heart.

Thank you. I've enjoyed our discussions as well. I can promise you one thing, you would not have been saying that if you knew me a few years ago!

If telling another man that you like them is wrong then I don't want to be right.

Artie, while I regret that a lot of my actions while drinking hurt people, I do not regret for one minute being an alcoholic. I do not choose to get involved in the academic exercise of trying to determine whether I have a disease that causes me to drink to excess or am weak willed and cannot stop. The fact is that alcohol is a problem for me and I need to take responsibility for that. I tried to moderate for years -- it was just unnatural for me. So, total abstinence is the only answer. That's on me to take care of. It's taken some time, but I am very comfortable with being sober -- whether I'm alone or out with friends who drink. I am very lucky/blessed/whatever.

I told Brody he was funny. He is.

Artie and I are in the same profession and it's great to get advice from him. I'm a young solo practitioner so I'm always doing it alone. It's great to get advice when things get tough.

Tldr: I guess it's homo to you
