She was trying to convince me that she would be able to go. We finally agreed that wasn't a great idea.

I doubt she'd be pleased with me if this was a boys weekend or something. It's a once a year work thing, so she's cool with it. She'll be extra cool with it when she finds out she's having a little girls' trip that weekend.

Paying for the room up front is always cheaper than the "free" room.

get a room off property at the Springhill Suites or Wingate..it's usually a lot cheaper on weekends as opposed to staying on site

If she has the baby in the room, y'all can name it L'Auberge LeCharles Xxxxxxx.

That way Verne can love to say his name over and over and over when the kid grows up to place-kick for the Tigas.

My wife had ours at 36 weeks. No offense but you should very seriously reconsider going out of the country when your wife is that far along. If the baby comes and you are on a stupid work trip, I guarantee it will be one of the greatest regrets of your life.

I can back out up to the day I leave, and we have a doctor visit 2 days before departure. I appreciate the advice, but I think our plan is very solid.

There are a shite load of companies that take their top sales people on trips all over the world.

My wife got us on two all expense paid vacations to Mexico several years ago.

In keeping with the subject, one year another wife was planning to go and she was going to be very pregnant. They were going to have a friend let them take a private jet down in case an early trip back was needed.
Thank goodness she came to her senses and did not go.
