Apply Aquaphor to your feet before bed. It's okay to apply it over another topical cream like silver sulfadiazine.
See the doctor for a prescription antibiotic if no improvement in 2-3 days. If you have diabetes, go ahead and get seen. Good luck!

In addition to hydrogen peroxide, try soaking in warm water with Epsom salt.

I thought that hydrogen peroxide can actually delay healing and is no longer recommended for cleaning wounds.

Use water and a gentle soap, or Hibiclens.

While everyone is mentioning OTC stuff, a fungus is not unlikely, given the moisture they were exposed to for a long period. Try some antifungal until you can see the doc.

Very good point. OTC clotrimazole three times a day. Keep them as dry as possible.

If you apply aquaphor, feet must be totally dry first.

Always keep a pair of dry socks stored in your rectum to keep them dry. Works like a charm.

I accept the blame here. Totally my fault and incredibly stupid. I appreciate the help.
