First I've heard of this. Many other lenders are adding the 3 month forbearance to the end of the loan. Basically, you wouldn't have to pay for 3 months and you would then resume your normal payment after the third month is up.

I'd advise to go the local credit union route. Wells sucks when it comes to dealing with real customer issues.

Wells Fargo is the worst company on earth. When we flooded in Isaac WF singlehandedly made our life hell. We would have been back in our house 5 months earlier if not for these scumbags.
I seriously doubt they will do anything to help you and will probably go out of their way to screw you.

Dude I get you had a hardship but calling a business that simply holds you to a mutual agreement scum is a bit much.
If they called you and said their situation changed and they needed more money immediately how would you react?
They are a business with expenses and employees who must be paid, not a charity.
