So in Thomasville GA there was a police shooting that killed a black man. Then there were some protests, then this

Really? Almost all those oaks look 300 years or older. A couple of the oak trees in Louisiana are estimated to be about 1,500 years old.

My initial thought is I can almost, almost understand why someone would want this tree down (thinking about the visual of a hanging from this same tree). But the tree didn't do anything and it's not a monument glorifying those acts (if anyone was actually hung from that exact tree, don't know how they'd know that to be certain).
Secondly, we should ban and destroy all forms of rope in the USA.
