Walmart clearance has gone garbage

You used to could get some decent savings on stuff but now it's not even worth looking. Something that's 3.75 gets a yellow tag marking it down to 3.23 on clearance. They barely marking down and then calling it a sale. Used to be real good saving this time of year on like garden things but not anymore. Though it seems like it's hard to find good sales anywhere theses days, tbh.

There is a system for how you can tell if the price is the lowest is marked at by looking at the number in hundredths place.
If it is marked down from that number, that is the best deal.
If it is marked down from that number, that is the best deal.

Sometimes you think you’ve hit rock bottom and then you find yourself writing a post on TD complaining about WalMart clearance items and soon realize what rock bottom really is.

Actually, if it ends in .00, it's the cheapest it'll be. That means it's completely discontinued and will never be reordered so they want it out fast.
Edit: at least that's how they do it with wine. I just assume it's the same storewide.
