It is certainly possible, but to do it you have to be willing to look really silly. Put a treadmill on 6 miles an hour and try to walk without looking like a freak.

By race-walking standards and rules(both feet can never be airborn at same time), it's VERY hard to walk that fast at all, much less for 10 minutes.
frick them haters. 10 min mile is perfect for a jog around lakes or on a treadmill for general cardiovascular fitness.

Ahhh that's another issue. If someone's doing this on a treadmill at 0% incline, they AIN'T walking that fast. Lifting your legs real fast isn't nearly the same as pushing along the pavement.
