WAFB's Greg Meriweather is coming under fire for question he asked BR's Mayor Broome

This was the question ...
He asked Mayor Broome, "What does she say to a lady that doesn't have a dog in the fight, living near Broadmoor, near the police headquarters, and just wants to go about her life?"
I like him. I think he does a good job, represents himself very well and is fair and objective. About all you can ask from a reporter.
He, along with Nakamoto, Scottie Hunter and Kiran Chawla all do very good job for the city of Baton Rouge and don't appear to be interested in playing politics with local officials who would love nothing more than to not answer any tough questions or see anyone of these people at their office door.

It's the weekend Bro
You can't take a break from race relations for a day or two?

Because he is a black guy asking a black mayor a question that seemly means he don't give a shite about the AS fiasco.
Didn't he catch a bunch of flack before reciently because he didn't "fall in line" with the other local blacks and he has a white wife.

Has nothing to do with race. In fact, the people that are criticizing him are African American.
Don't spin this thread out of control.
I think Meriweather is a very good reporter and it's unfortunate because of his employment status, he cannot respond in public to defend himself for fear of retaliation by those who are speaking out against him or losing his job.

Seems like a legit a question.

Link?
A Baton Rouge City Councilwoman who represents District 2 and encouraged FEMA fraud and software piracy tagged 37 leaders (Facebook) in the Baton Rouge area to get the discussion started.
This has nothing to do with race and is not a race thread. This has everything to do with attacking a man's character and integrity, all over what I consider a legitimate question, because black city officials do not want to see "their" mayor be "shown" up.

So is there any link to the discussion between all these tagged people showing he has come under fire?

He actually asked it like that? That's odd af. Is he retarded?
Broome should have replied, "Who is this she you are asking about? Go ask her."

Your post history says otherwise.

Can you give context of what this is even about or means?
Where is he 'under fire'? You linked nothing and posted a question he asked that doesn't make any sense without info on what you are talking about?
