I have extremely dry eyes. Which rewetting product is the best on the market?

Rewetting products are a short term fix. Do you have monthlys or dailys? I would suggest dailys. Had the same problem and it was fixed by going to dailys

visine for contacts work. sometimes air blowing, like a fan or something dries the contact out quickly.

Monthly. I can try to switch it up.

I use systane drops from time to time. Wearing contacts 7/days a week exacerbates the dryness for me. I find if I can wear glasses to work once a week the dryness isn't so bad.

Systane Ultra. That little fricker is about $10 but it works.

Get your Dr to prescribe Restasis, just be careful, that stuff makes you walk in slow motion...

Man I'll spend whatever it costs to help this. I work in the hospital so the air is always pumping. I'm dry within an hour of arriving.

I used to have crazy dry eyes with contacts, so dry the contacts would actually pop out of my eye.
Then i switched to Acuvue Oyasis. Have no idea if they still make those as i got lasik, but they were amazing for keeping hydrated.

If you aren't concerned about increased costs, then definitely try dailies and see if that resolved your problem.

Nothing works for me, I use the daily's but after about 8 hours my eyes are in rough shape. Once I start using a drop it seems I need to keep adding drops every 15 minutes the rest of that day.
I have been told by 2 different eye doctors that I have a very mild dry eye but it isn't mild from my point of view.
I wish I had some good advice for you but I have tried many different lenses and drops over the last 15 years and nothing seems to help. Some drops are real slimy and make my lenses drift. The only thing that helps a little is to actually take out the contact when they first start bothering me and and add drops inside the lenses before putting them back in, this seems to buy me another hour or two but that it.
If you figure something out that helps please share.

But make sure not to use Systane (or any drop not meant for use with contacts) when the lenses are in.

There are prescription drops that work very well.
But yeah dailies are the way to go.

which kind do you wear? I'm wearing air optics night and day and don't usually have a problem

I typed your symptoms into webmd. I've got some bad news, it's probably cancer.

Do you even Acuvue 2?
I had this problem- switchinng to this brand w the type you throw out every 2 weeks did the trick.
Refresh eye drops are a lifesaver.

Look up recurrent corneal erosion. It shows the progression of different treatments for your doctor to try.
