Celebration of what? I'm sure about 90% of those white soldiers would have gladly traded places with anyone during the war, especially that invasion. Man, your bullshyte is overflowing.
White Privilege...uh huh...

he OT can't help themselves and had to make it about race

I was thinking more along the lines of the transsexual movement, but my post got turned into something about race.

Very nice link regardless.

What do you mean by " blind Link"? Thought the title said it all. Pointers?

Some people get upset when the link simply says "link." As though it could be hiding a virus or something. As if the link saying "link" makes it more dangerous than clicking on one that says "free money." I don't get it as labeling it is arbitrary. If I were to label a link "Nude Photos of Emily Ratajkowski," as opposed to "Link" that would not negate the ability for either of them to be a computer virus.

As for the pointer... when you add the link, it then gives you the option to enter a "link title." As you can see below, I linked this exchange and titled it as such. Welcome to the Thunderdome... I mean OT.

Great post and link. Thanks!

Welcome to the board (or at least welcome to active posting here).

It's a pity the first 6 replies were the typical OT race and politics BS, the those pictures are excellent.

Thanks. But like you said, renaming doesn't make it safe. Trying to keep it simple.

Thanks. Longtime tigerdroppings reader. Just don't post because someone will always drag it in the gutter, just like this one. But I thought this one was worthy. Really didn't think anyone could find anything wrong but if they go through life just focusing on the negative angle of everything, I guess there is always something there.

You are welcome. It still amazes me what it took to plan and carry out the D-Day invasion. I thank God every day for this generation.

We just got back from Omaha Beach and Point de Hoc. It’s memorizing. There is no explainable emotion.

As we left the Normandy Cementary, my son turned around and said “Thank you”.
