U.S. considering using force to protect Syrian rebels hit by Russia

Is this an escalation? Will there be rounds exchange between US and Russian forces? So far is seems that our lovely administration is trying (keyword: trying) to tell Russia to only hit ISIS fighters...to which they haven't even targeted ISIS fighters. Interesting turn of events here. Is this the beginning????

Neh. This administration will utilize their mad negotiation skills to pen an understanding.

They'll push another reset button.

As much as I hate America being Russia's bitch, I really don't want to start a world war over fricking Syria.

Russia is desperate with their economy cratering over oil prices/worldwide production. This does not surprise me one bit.

So in other words, they'll talk a lot of shite then not follow through on any of it. Let's be honest here. Everyone knows Obama won't do shite. You know it, I know it, the Syrians know it, and most importantly, Putin knows it.

Why would it have to be nuclear? Either we stand our "ground" as it seems the admin has drawn another line, or we just cave in once again, much like we did with Iran. If shots are fired, does one really think Russia wants it assure its destruction by going nuclear????

I always love how people who have never been in combat are so quick to suggest we fight in a war, anywhere.
I always wish those MF's were the first ones on the front line or their children or grandchildren

Time to pull the frick out of there. There's no reason to get Americans killed and burn through money and resources for all this. Let that land settle itself.
We could use the effort, time, money, and resources back here at home where there's no shortage of problems.
I've had enough of the pseudo wars we wage in the middle east. Just get the frick out and stay the frick out. This is a tremendous over reach of a county's power and a stupid waste of life and time. We aren't going to turn Syria into a fun loving rainbow land.
Dear Obama,
Get the frick out of there. This shite isn't worth it.
Sincerely,
America

U.S. officials made it clear earlier this year that rebels trained by the U.S. would receive air support in the event they are attacked by either IS or Syrian government troops. Currently, only about 80 U.S.-trained Syrian rebels are back in Syria fighting with their units.
We only have 80 trained syrian rebels fighting so I say bomb whomever they want.

So, Darth and everyone - is this considered a line? What happens when this goes unheeded?
It seems that he is trying to tell them to only bomb ISIS... If this weren't so sad, it would almost be funny...

At U.N. headquarters in New York, Secretary of State John Kerry said: "What is important is Russia has to not be engaged in any activities against anybody but ISIL. That's clear. We have made that very clear."

I don't want a war period. I'm just pointing out the obvious fact that Obama has proven to the world he's weak when it comes to matters on the world stage. From abandoning Iraq and Afganistan, to the "red line" in Syria, to the virtual capitulation to Iran over the nuke deal. He's shown time and again he's weak. And being that he's POTUS, the USA is seen as weak. Perhaps had he in the past shown some resolve instead of being a push over, we'd be in a position to actually have countries pay attention to what we have to say about what's going on in Syria. But as things stand now, thanks to Obama's history of weakness, Russia and its allies know they've got a free hand to do whatever they want.

A few weeks ago there was mention of Obama nominating a gay dude to lead the army. I don't know how any country would take us seriously if that happens.

Obama is the only world leader in history that has sought to shrink an empire. Every other has sought to expand, such as Russia gaining a larger Mid East foothold.
