Updates on cell service around the state?

To what degree is cell service starting to come back? We have a lot of family in Houma and surrounding areas and haven't been able to contact any of them since late Sunday night / early Monday morning. We know everybody is safe but need further updates. TIA

I was in Mandeville without Any ATT service until about 12:30p yesterday. I was only able to send/receive basic sms text messages but no calls. Then by about 2:30p I was getting 5G/LTE again.

When you were able to get basic message but not calls, were voicemails still coming through?

I've got TMO and it never lost anything. My wife was out of ATT for a while, then it was at a point where she could only receive, but now is back full.

No we do not recall seeing any voicemails coming through but I don't think anyone was trying to leave me any voicemails.

Just talked to several friends and family members in the area. Seems like it’s coming back.

Thanks for your updates everybody! We managed to reach the people we needed to reach. The house we own (my cousin lives in it currently) appears to be relatively unscathed. The barn completely collapsed but we are just happy to see the house standing. God is good.

Seemed to get close to back to normal yesterday evening. I haven’t tried to make calls today, but LTE is moving fast enough that I don’t think it would be an issue.
