Also I have 2 vegetarian friends, both loathe vegans. I mean just think about planning a road trip with those assholes. Pretty easy to not include meat on multiple dishes, but dairy and eggs? There's not really a fast food restaurant you could stop at.

Maybe. I think the only animal products I currently eat regularly are milk and eggs. Guess I could replace those.
