I've been there with my grandpa and when my gf died of leukemia . All I can tell you man is to accept it. It makes it easier. It will get easier with time, but that doesnt mean you are forgetting about him. You will always remember the good times and you will never forget. You just learn to deal with it overtime.

Lost my mom to cancer and grandpa to Parkinson's and both were rough. Prayers for your family.
