Check this out. Tell me what you think. LINK
We had our meeting. The teacher was defiant and unprofessional throughout. She rolled her eyes the entire time and refused to apologize for 30 minutes. About half way through the meeting she pointed to me and said, "the only thing I apologize for is stooping to your level." The principal was constantly telling her we don't talk like that to parents. At the end I said I insisted on having a meeting with Dr. Starnes (principal's boss) about this. Then the teacher said, "since there's only 5 days left, I'll apologize."
The only thing they are going to do to her is put a paper in her file about what happened. I asked to see it so I can confirm they don't sugar coat it, but the principal never responded to me on that. The teacher said she didn't remember calling me a coward aloud to the class, so we got my son in there to remind her. The principal did okay overall, but she refused to say the woman did anything wrong or that she owed me an apology. She just kept saying she wouldn't have used those words and if she had, she would apologize but she felt like she couldn't speak for someone else. So I told her this would be a good time for her to show some leadership.
