It's an awful thing but resilient is the word used to describe infants and heart surgery. It is the scariest thing I have ever dealt with in my life, however everyone used the words you will be amazed at how resilient they are.

four years later you can hardly see a scar, biggest problem for many is getting off the vent and getting the lungs working properly afterwards. We continue to pray for baby Drew, he can do it!
