To satisfy 480, a night runner runner is a "modified" zombie, for lack of better terms. Read the books.

Possibly one of the best zombie series ever written. So far, there are 8 or 9 books in the series. They are extremely well written and offer a different take on the subject. I am not much of a fan of zombie type books, but read this one as a suggestion and was hooked. The author is ex military and incorporates that into the books in a very realistic way. If you like this type of stuff, you won't be disappointed.
