Two things:

1. This guy had some serious game and super sperm.

2. This is likely the only thing he ever did for his children.

Agree. Like I said earlier in the other thread in this society we [police] don't kill people based on the number of kids, weed arrests, or DUIs. Sadly, many justify his death based on that.

And yes even many who saw the video licked those boots even faster.

when someone is known to not be a productive (outside of making kids for us to pay for) member of society why should we care? No loss to me.

Let's be candid... Guy was not the best citizen, dad or insert noun here. Made a series of shitty life choices we're sure. Cop made a bad decision and took a life. Likely regrets evert second.

Solution? Civil suit. Lawyers type words, present evidence and settle OOC. They take 40% and move on. EVERYBODY parties tonight...

Shitty system, Judicial. On to the next.

Is this the story where he drug the cop with his car and wasn't complying with the officer's request? If so, why would they provide anything to his family, much less ridiculous sums of money and scholarships?

would they have sued if officer was black?

Maybe because the cop shot and killed someone unjustly? Or should we allow them to do that only to people who are drains on society without repercussions ?

No they are memorializing a man that was murdered by police
Why? So the cops were POS, but you shouldnt then memorialize another POS just because of that. If Hitler would have been unjustly murdered, should we memorialize him?

Yes. Except he did not drag the cop. You might want to watch the video. And comply or die is not the law. That is why.

I agree the COPS were huge pieces of shite. But why in the hell are we building a freaking memorial to a freaking criminal over it?

If you wanted to take a simplistic view, its because the lawyers at Cincy thought they would likely lose at court by a preponderance of the evidence, so they settled.

According to the media and a lot on this board, cops kill enough black people that I'm sure they could have found one or two to memorialized that had, oh I don't know, less than 40 arrests or so?
Then they shoulda murdered that one or two?

1. Don't know the backstory, did the cops know that when they shot him?

2. You should care because you're, in essense, saying you're ok with a cop deciding who gets to live or die for no real reason

He is still on trial. But I do except they will plea to manslaughter.
