Is there a mandatory evacuation for the University Club South neighborhood? My mom just called freaking out saying she heard this and I haven't heard this or seen it anywhere yet on the web. Can anyone verify this?

The Iberville Parish Pres was on the news and issued an evacuation. I believe he said from the EBR/Iberville Parish line to the Hwy 74.

Any evacuations for 74 in Geismar/Dutchtown areas?

Do we anticipate Hwy 30 being closed between 3115 through St Gabriel to Bluebonnet?

Things are quiet at Old Mill, so I don't know if its a good or bad thing. Does all of our drainage go to New River? It looked pretty full by Chester Diez yesterday, but I don't know if it will back up into Dtown.

Stay vigilant as the water makes its way through Ascension/Iberville. As Spanish Lake fills, the water will push the capacity and drain naturally. Those on the bluff should be fine, but if St Amant is any indication, no one is truly in the clear.

It sounds like you live in Oak Alley/Legacy/Moss Pointe
