Madonna said she is a gay man trapped in a womans body. Works for her.

there once was a screwed up old man, he,
Tucked his tackle and said "it's a fanny"
Got a pair of bolt-ons,
And paid plastic surgeons,
Then said "Love me, for I am a Granny!"

You could be a pre-op lesbian trans woman transvestite and not even have to put on women's clothing

They won't be happy until they have one in every show. They need some trangender zombies characters on the Walking Dead. It's time they are represented in the zombie apocalypse!

I'm not offended by progressive issues being used as plot devices in mass media. I just hate when it's done poorly, when it's obviously a gimmick or desperate attempt to stir up buzz.

I'm incredibly critical (read: pretentious) when it comes to watching movies or television. From my perspective, there's a right way to present transgender issues (Orange Is The New Black, Boys Don't Cry, Dallas Buyers Club, World According to Garp), and a wrong way (almost every other film ever made involving transgender characters). You'll notice that the best movies involving transgender issues also happen to be fundamentally good movies.

It's like Justice Kagan says: the way to become a great legal writer is to 1) know the law and 2) be a good writer.

Yes, let's pretend that pop culture and entertainment don't affect society.
