Trying to put together a vacation for the frau and myself

lll be getting back from being gone for a month at the end of Feb. The vacation would start on Feb 28th and last about a week. I've got several ideas but looking for a few other suggestions before I decide on one.
Budget is around 3 grand but isn't a hard number.
We're in our mid and late 20s by the way.

If you are a big fancy resort (Atlantis) type of person, you will be disappointed with SHB. If you like to be treated like family, get in tune with nature, meet new people from different places, and absolutely get disconnected from everything tecnology wise -- it is the perfect spot.
I take the family after almost every big project I finish that requires me to travel. Been trying to get them to take a Safari in Africa -- nope, they just want to go back "home" to the island.
