When you mix the two, this lines become blurred and you can't blame it on people taking this place too seriously. When you break through that IRL/message board line, it's bound to become intertwined.

Regardless there are people who get off on hurting others just because they can. Some people here seem to hold nothing sacred and have no regard for others and how these thing would effect a person IRL.

what is the illustrative list of what must be held sacred? i think that you're right that society is not holding things as sacred, but by and large that is a good thing. this is similar to old people demanding that sports remain a mythology and rejecting advanced statistical analysis

That's BS. I have never brought anything here from my IRL. I have never willingly discussed my person life here and the only time I did was to defend myself.
