Trashy or not?

While heading to the lake today I stopped in a little beer store and grabbed a 12pk. The guy ahead of me was getting a pack of cigs while his little boy grabbed him two 12pks out of the cooler and brought them to his dad. The little boy looked around 12 years old and obviously knew what his dad likes to drink.

Well the cashier says you have to put those back and get them out of the cooler yourself and bring them to the counter. The man gets pissed and says the kid isnt buying it nor carrying it out of the store! The cashier states that someone that young cant handle the alcohol inside or outside the store. I think it embarrassed the man more than made him mad.

I seen nothing wrong with it myself, while some people would say he's the worst father ever. My dad always drank beer on our fishing trips and I drink it around my boys while fishing. Big freak'n deal.
