I’m glad KLIX decided to turn the radar off for 3 months

Wafb has a couple independent radars (St Francisville and somewhere else) that are helpful for these times. Funny how they thought it’d be a good time to move the radar during winter but with el niño, we might be seeing more storms than normal.

SPC busted to all hell yesterday for the Houston area. They went Enhanced on a highly conditional threat, then watched all day/evening as the most obvious failure mode played out. It barely managed a single Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

It is low key one of the more solid busts they've had in a while.

Seems like it, and it seems like the worst is coming late tonight and it's heading directly toward us

My buddies have an amateur strip club in Lumberton. If you’re interested I’ll give you the password.

Either RadarScope is having issues, which is likely, or KMOB is down (or at least struggling). Radar Omega seems to be current.

ETA: It is a RadarScope issue. It finally updated after being 10+ minutes delayed.
