That right. Tornados are just like hurricanes. They don't turn. Always move in a straight predictable path.

Anybody got a time table on when/where it should be hitting certain areas?

THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SE ST. CHARLES & NW JEFFERSON PARISHES WILL EXPIRE AT 1015 PM. The storm has weakened, but gusty winds are likely!

In River Ridge. Seems to have passed without too much trouble. Getting some gusts but nothing major so far.

In river ridge. Pretty concerned. Live in an apartment on 3rd floor, I'm ready to pull my wife and dog into the tub if I hear it

Looking at the radar, that bitch was moving and the red died down to orange. I think you're safe

Was pretty windy in 70005, but not bad. My street is flooded up into the yard, but we have slow drainage here. Once it slows down, it goes away in half an hour

Eta: Parents in 70003 on the lake said it was loud

I think a water spout did form but it died dissipated quickly. The next cells shouldn't enter the metro area for awhile.

Hope everyone stays safe! Keep in mind, while most tornadoes that originate from tropical cyclones are smaller, spin up types it is not always the case. Some do get strong and cause significant damage so be very careful to dismiss any of these storms!

I pray for all of your safety during the storms, flooding, etc...
