thanks man,

I'd like to believe that is my starting point. Unfortunately that's after 1 month and I have gotten some really good results even if I have put on fat. It would've been much sadder last month.

ETA: I feel much better about it this morning. I was utterly depressed when I stepped on the scales and saw 184 last night, even though I knew this morning I'd weigh in at 180, which I did

Oh hell yes. I'm gonna frick you up for judging me for stealing a backpack in 1994 in your thread from like 4 years ago.

Btw, OP you look like a twink ready to be turned out at George's Place on a slow Sunday night.
See you there this Sunday.

Everyone has a starting point.
I once trained a girl who was 250 lbs and wanted to compete in bikini. She stuck with everything I told her and in 7 months, was at 145 lbs and got on stage and looked damn good.
Keep a positive attitude and don't give up on your goal.

so easy to do, I just need to ditch the scale for a while

I think I've never been more pleased with a workout schedule because I don't have a very specific goal other than to do what I'm doing consistently and develop habits

Too often, I get in great shape and then a few months of domilise's po boys have me ready to go back to working out.

I want to create good habits (3 meals a day, lifting, etc.)...sticking with something is never my problem, but I want it to be longer lasting

that's a valid point, but I may have body dysmorphia, so I need real feedback. We'll see next month

how many calories are you eating a day? Are you trying to gain or lose?

im asking because i started at the beginning of month myself. Im a short mfr 5'6 and weigh 158 right now. Im wanting to be 150, but im not losing any weight at all. Im at the gym 4-5 days a week working out, sticking to a 1200-1300 calorie a day diet. But not dropping lbs.

could i be losing inches of fat but putting on muscle? Im not measuring, just using a scale. Im not doing any cardio. But i am staying consistant with the diet and weights. I only eat baked turkey breast, baked chicken breast, steamed veggies, quest bar and protein shakes. Just not dropping freaking lbs! its been a month
