Top 10 late 80s LSU bars

My list (prior to that catfish town atrocity, makos)
1. Bengal (captain jack will get you looking for a girl quick because the lights are coming on!)
2. the one across the street from SI and Freds
3. Xanthus (when it was still alternative and not gay..aka before Neimans closed down)
4. Hoolihans/Shanihans(?) was the the one 2 blocks from Bengal?
5. The one 2 blocks and ACROSS the street from the Bengal?
6. Murphys - Where Dennis Quaid had his way with the sorostitutes.
7. Chimes
8. Drinkin' with Lincoln (what was that bar named?)
9. Bayou (free pool every afternoon...!!!!! and got to watch Laura San Giacomo pretend to be a bartender
10. Library (where you could always find Manny Fernandez or Buddy Roemer nursing his wounds at being a puppet governor)

Drinkin with Lincoln was TA's Tavern behind The Chimes.

I had some great times at The Tiger. So many good stories that I can't tell people about now.
And I was carried out and placed in the back of someone's pickup truck bed after a night of Drinkin With Lincoln at TA's.
No mention of The Caterie? They had live music, $2 pitchers and the absolute best Long Island Ice Tea in town. Their food wasn't bad either (those cheese sticks were the shite).
Damn...I loved college.
