Jefferson county (Birmingham) has 99 cases. 19 on vent at UAB.

Yet idiots on here still think it's not a big deal and we need to return to work. This only affects "old people and those at risk"

Guess what? Everyone in Louisiana is at risk if you include risks as, heart disease, COPD, asthma, cancer, diabetes etc.

So about 30% of hospitalized cases require a vent, which is about 9% of all positive cases. That would align with Italy's current death rate.

Yes......until there are not enough ventilators.

I am assuming in 1-2 weeks we will see crisis mode in the US because of this.

I voted for trump and will again, but man did they pull the trigger late on expediting equipment and supplies. The guys literally called this a HOAX. WOW
