TN Cop uses BB gun to shoot children playing at a church. Not arrested.

He's a Lieutenant with the Scott County SO and apparently was upset that kids playing at the nearby church were making noise. He was intoxicated. Charged with assault but never actually arrested.

thats ridiculous, that cop should be arrested just like you or I would if we did that.

They said it was normal to not make an arrest when there are no other witnesses.

if there were no witnesses it is kind ballsy to accuse a cop of doing that. And then airing the cops name and the accusers name on public television.

There were witnesses (the kids) and enough evidence to arrest. They just didn't want to arrest another cop over something so small like drunkenly shooting children as they play at church.

Maybe...unless it was with one of the newer Daisy Chinese Red Ryder guns. Then they could probably dodge them Matrix style...so getting hit would be on them.
