Lots of nations have been trying to figure out how to work zero point energy and the Caismir force for some time.
SETI/ETI whatever is also ongoing but nothing of consequence has been found. Just seems like a routine email which is probably really old. The Vatican has already acknowledged SETI and its counterparts.
