I do this every yr on the eve of football season with Dish and use Direct TV as leverage. I just received a $40 credit for the next six months plus all the movie channels free for the same time period. Also got the sports package free for the next 3 months. Can't wait to watch soft porn and the Red Zone Channel once the NFL regular season kicks off!

My contract is finally coming up. I'm just going to internet and figuring out my cord cutting from there. I've got kodi to get me by for a bit.

We only have streaming but all those bastards are doing is implementing data caps and jacking up internet costs to offset subscriber loss. My internet was $45 about four years ago and now it's almost $90.

This. Playstation Vue and it ain't close. I don't even think about how much money I wasted on Cox not doing it sooner.

How does this work?

It's a live TV streaming service like SlingTV or Direct TV Now. It's basically a slim cable package (no contract) that you stream over the internet with a roku, Amazon fire TV etc. It's about to increase to $40 per month. Sling is cheaper but you only get one simultaneous stream with the sports package. Soon Hulu and Google will have similar options.
