Some of my most memorable (sort of) times at LSU were at Tigerland while being drunker than a trailer park stepfather during my freshman and sophomore years. But I think it's time for a change in the bar scene around LSU. A change that brings a whole new bar district within close proximity to campus, like Tigerland.

Let's face it, while Tigerland can be a great time, it's a shite hole that's backed up into a ghetto along Alvin Dark. The bars are old, disgusting, and worn down and make other college bar districts look like Sodosopa.

With all of the new development along Burbank and Lee Dr., I think it would be great for a group of developers to build a brand new bar district on Lee Dr. This area is too far of a bicycle ride for those thugs to come commit an armed robbery, making this area safer, and it would be very close, or right in the middle of all of the new off campus apartment buildings.

I'm sure investors see a lot of potential in this idea in regards to significant profit, but it would also bring a new and exciting aspect to the LSU surrounding areas. Tigerland has been great to a lot of us, but I think it's time to start considering a change.

I had the displeasure of going to Fred's like a week or two ago and couldn't get over how many 1975 Cutlass's with rims there were driving around.

Chimes St would be a better area but for some reason those bars never work out. At least they have a late night cookie delivery service though.

Austin and Baton Rouge have a very different post grad situation that makes something like 6th street work.

Now that Baton Rouge has uber there is no reason to go to tiger unless you are >21 without a good id or you want to go to bogies

Well, grown-ups think it would be great if you confined your degeneracy to the multiple areas you already pollute.

Well, I think it would be great if you confined your homosexuality to yourself.
