I've been to adjoining Lincoln Co hunting in the past. Never been to Kalispell. I loved the area but I'm not sure I could adjust to the winters. Culcha won't be a problem in the area but Grizzly and Mountain Lion may . What line of work are you looking at (if you don't mind my asking )?

30 min from Glacier and right next to Flathead Lake. Awesome.

No...lived in mobile our entire lives just been thinking about a scouting trip to the area and if fesible maybe a move in the next 5 yrs or so...traveled a great portion of the u.s. but just can't imagine living anywhere else...my thoughts are after the scenery wears off it will just be a place in the middle of nowhere

i live a couple hours south in Missoula, which i consider a far superior place to live and work. Kalispell and Whitefish are fun to visit and good stops for Glacier and Bob Marshall trips. But not my thing for living.

The middle of nowhere is what attracts me to it. If I were younger I'd give it a shot. Only live once I hear.

Where we live is rural and awesome but the wife is tired of the grind here and to be honest the demographic. She has no interest in any other area of the southeast and besides a few place neither do i...she will not even step foot in Florida. We will even consider the outskirts of any of the larger cities in MT

Didn't go to Kalispell but I recently spent some time in Glacier, Polson, and Big Fork. I fell in love with the area. It is absolutely beautiful and if you are into the outdoors, there is tons to do. Great microbrew scene also. Getting accustomed to the winters would definitely be a challenge, but if my circumstances were different, I would give relocating there some serious thought.

Heaven on earth if you can tolerate 9 months of winter.

There's trash everywhere you go. In MT they're white meth freaks.
