Woman talked for 20 minutes straight then when she did ask me a question I got 3 words in before she interrupted me to ask the waitress to change the TV channel.

She was a “slay queen” Karen who was a big fan of Kamala Harris and wanted to know what my opinion was on her. What went through my head: “Date over in T-Minus five seconds.” She’s the one that left though since I wanted to eat the sea bass filet because I was already there. My mentality:

When we were at the bar with a bunch of friends and she said she had to take a shite. Then I took her back to my place and she actually took a shite. And it stank up my apartment.

There was only one that I was tempted to walk out on (no pics). 10+ years ago. I'm ten minutes early so I walk a few yards to an ATM. I finish and get back to the restaurant 5 minutes late. She's there:
Her: "If you had been one more minute late I was going to leave"
Me: "yeah sorry went to the ATM"
Her: "don't care, I've walked out on my father before"
I'm already wondering wtf she is on about. But it was a first date, not a first evening drunk in a bar, that already happened, and worked well. So dial it back.
Five minutes later she's arguing and shouting with the waiter about how to make a simple syrup. Vigorously defending a position, and loudly.
I walk to the bathroom, call a woman friend of mine, and ask her what our friends are doing and if they're having more fun. The answer is no, so I stayed, had a sandwich, and left promptly. Hard pass after that. She's a nut.
