Battery powered forklifts are not as popular as fuel powered forklifts

Cassette tapes are more popular than CDs, wait that was 1990.

CDs and vinyl are more popular than digital downloads, wait that was 2011.


Energy storage is still a huge question/issue but electric motors are better in basically every objective way compared to ICEs.

By Land: heavy large loads semis carry.
By Air: passenger planes that cross the ocean
By Sea: cargo ships that transport containers of goods.

I agree but in 60 years the popular opinion is still that internal combustion machines are better. While this is probably not true it remains a fact that more IC forklifts are out there

Electric forklifts have been around a very long time, like the 1920s. And while they’re very common, if they were going to supplant IC forklifts, they’d have done so decades ago.
