Self awareness is a not a hard trait to cultivate if you try. You should think though the things you're about to post. Its okay to delete and start over if you realize it's stupid. Realizing it is stupid is a win.

Technically that's correct. But the intent was there, and she most likely would have made it out the store with all of that. Had loss prevention been following and watching her, he actually did her a favor.

not gonna take up for her, but like others said he had no authority to do anything. Not even people that work in the store can do anything unless the merchandise leaves the store. I would have told that guy to frick off and when asked for ID, I would have asked him for his ID.

Maybe so. But I do know that Walmart loss prevention won't do a thing until you have gone through the doors into the parking lot. At least that's as the policy when I worked there during undergrad.

if he was really concerned about the shoplifting he could have just walked to the front of the store and alerted a manager and let them handle it. He just wanted to be a youtube hero.
