Another fact is that apparently Turkey Creek is a hard town for a kid to lose his virginity in.

Civil Law used in Louisiana is found throughout the world whereas few countries use common law that is found in the other 49 states

When LSU played OU for the NC we knew some people that were going to drive from OK but decided not to at the last minute because they were worried about all of the alligators.

No, it has nothing to do with race.

I am of Creole descent, my great-great-great-grandfather (not sure how many "greats", but you get the idea) was a General in Napoleon's army and was sent to govern the French colony of Saint-Domingue, the island that now emcompasses Haiti and the Dominican Republic. When the slave rebellion happened, he was forced to flee to the nearest French-held territory, New Orleans, and the rest is history; we have no "African" blood whatsoever.

Lol, wut!?

Did they think the alligators were going to travel from the swamp to the Superdome and attack them? Or maybe they'd take the elevator in their hotel and attack them as they slept?

That not everyone is a Cajun. Whenever I tell people I'm from Lafayette and that I'm mostly of German descent, they seem confused. They have a look that says, "how is that possible?"
