Some things were better then, some better now. It's impossible to make a non biased decision between the two eras. I'd like to have the best aspects of both to be honest.

Kids shows and most adult shows. And there was no reality shows. Sports were better to watch, collecting sports cards, people knew how to cook, people were nicer and not always in a hurry. Gas stations would check everything for you and pump your gas. I could go on and on
