One of my roommates in college had a waterbed. He got shitfaced one night and pissed the bed. Next day, changed the sheets and all that business. About three days later, we start noticing a horrible smell in the apartment. Turns out the majority of the piss had run down between the frame and the mattress and just did what sitting piss does. One of the most rank things I've ever smelled.

ETA: Someone enlighten me, what caused the demise of the three-wheeler?

Accident statistics weren't all that bad.

Everything started getting blown out of proportion after some late night news report.

The CPSC stepped in and launched one of the biggest shams of investigations the world has ever seen. There are literally examples in there of kids tripping and hitting their faces on a stationary threewheeler and it somehow being a design flaw.

In the end, honda saw it as a way to launch their new atv line while simultaneously avoiding lawsuits. An importation ban of ten years was signed.

It was renewed in 2009 or so.

There are a few US companies modifying sport quads and dirt bikes to create three wheelers. Pretty fun to ride.

We actually got into building the minis a few years ago, the most fun you can have for under 1400$. A sub 200lb bike with 20 hp is a damned handfull!

Couldn't pry me off of my Green Machine. Life lesson, taught me how to drive a ZTR before they existed.

I believe it. When I was 7 or 8 I had a little one and my dad had a huge full-sized one. Well when he was gone one day I took his out and went straight up a hill and it rolled over on me and burned my leg, it would have made no difference if it had 3 or 4 wheels. I still have a scar about the size of 3 quarters on my thigh.

they make a newer one now but they don't look as cool or probably skid around as cool as the ones from our childhood.
