I stopped at a Flying Js once right outside of Houston to get a road pop after an Astros game. It was definitely a different world. A couple ol' trucker baws shopping for toys, a bunch of dirty trucker baws in a side room watching a movie, all sorts of shady shite going on in the parking lot. Saw one nasty looking chick hop out of one truck and into another as I was getting gas. One guy approached me at the pump and asked if I was looking for a date (guessing he was the lot pimp). I said no. A man and a lady yelling at each other a couple cars over and seemed like it was getting violent.
Just 10 miles away was a bunch of normal people having normal fun at an Astros game. The different directions people take in life........

My dad got suckered into buying this old man's harmonica cassette at station in Shreveport.... We listened to it on the way Dallas for my B-I-L's funeral... We laughed the whole way there about pops getting suckered out of 5 bucks...

It's Port Allen at night. It's truck stops and transients rolling through. Of course it's shady.
