Nixon never owned hundreds of slaves. Nixon was just incompetent and didn't last long anyways. If not for Watergate, he'd be as forgotton as Garfield.

A great deal of it has to do with opportunity. If you study the prewar backgrounds of the men involved in the Holocaust, there was nothing remarkable about most of them. Seriously? I was in the third grade when the OJ verdict was announced, so forgive me if my details aren't perfect. As far as I remember, OJ brutally murdered his wife and the dude she was sleeping with. Brutally is pretty tame for how bad it was, but it was still a situation in which he caught his wife sleeping around.
I am in no way trying to defend the Juice, but Hernandez planned and personally carried out the execution of a friend, and then did a half of a cover-up. Now it turns out he has had a role in several other murders over the past few years and is flat out crazy.

That depends on your view. Bill and Kennedy disgraced it with their lusts, at the time people felt what Lincoln did was asinine. Same with Bush. Washington was a slave owner as a few others were.

I don't care about Clinton's "lusts". He perjured himself but got a pass because he was popular. And if you believe Juanita Broaddrick (and I tend to) then he is a rapist as well. Those are the things that matter, not Monica.

Jimmy Carter, Barack H. Obama, and Clinton are candidates from a disgracing the presidency standpoint, but they all pale in comparison to the Hitler, Stalin, Sandusky, etc.
