maybe IQ is not the only thing that determines achievement in life. Man that was tough to figure out.
yep.
got to do the work. Buckminster Fuller spent a couple of years alone working on his first material. that is such a horrific discipline.
got to get along with other humans, whether dept heads or lab assistants.
got to be able to communicate. (grant writing and presentations of findings)

FYI - 210 guy
started studying physics/engineering in college at AGE THREE and received his PH D in physics at age 15. Why did it take so long?
Because it was too busy working for NASA in between.
230 guy - graduates with bach/masters at age 16 and gets phd in mathematics at age 20.
Who's obviously more impressive?

'm impressed regardless, I'm just not THAT impressed when a person with an UNHEARD of IQ (in the recorded history of our planet) looks so pedestrian when compared to guys with IQs 25-30% lower than his.
give him time. he may change majors/professions when he is 28. Beethoven and Brahms did their best work when they were pretty old.
For one thing, we have not read (or heard of - its not like we are going to actually critique his published work) his Phd work. Some of it may be ground breaking, but not yet understood or accepted in the dogma of his field. Einstein published much of his ground breaking work in 1905 and it was a generation before much of it mattered. He got his Nobel prize for inventing the mechanism that made televisions possible. <== LOL!

And I truly believe you can beat the casino there. Think about it, the asians are a more advanced people than us. They have this shite figured out, that's why they only play it. It's a winner.
