How did it go from hosting the Rockets sweep home court in the 94-95 finals over tMagic to hosting a mega-church?

It became old as frick and the Rockets wanted a new arena so they built the Toyota Center. What else do you want?

I agree. I've been.... Only once though... Been to NRG only once as well.

Never made it go tSummit back in the day but would go to a series in the Astro Dome every year growing up.

And average about one series a year in Minute Maid which I enjoy.

Wonder when they retire them if one these will the just move a super-congregation in

In between 'Clutch City' and Lakewood, was the WNBA four-peat dynasty of 1997-2000..

Had a friend that lived off West Alabama..The Summitt used to have more dyke groupies hanging outside the Comets locker room doors to the arena than a KD Lang concert.

I liked The Summit/Compaq Center as a basketball venue. It wasn't flashy but I never had a bad seat and it would get rowdy when the Rockets were good. Traffic was a bitch though getting in and out and I remember the underground parking garages flooding pretty badly

People love to be told what they want to hear....and that they can be rich if they just have more faith.

Jesus preached emphatically that getting rich is the key to salvation.
