The remodeled Racetracs are the "Chick Fil A's" of gas stations

Whatever they are doing, they are doing right. The employees are very welcoming, everything is clean even the bathrooms, and even the food ain't to shabby for a gas station. It seems like they have taken the "chick fil a" approach to their store model and it is working well in their favor. Also their gas seems to be a bit cheaper than most other gas stations.

They had to reinvent because of the competition from Wawa.

They are doing work on their gas stations. There are 2 in Hammond... 1 they closed down and remodeled and the other they completely demolished and rebuilt it from scratch. Definitely investing some money in their stores.

Ya, and at a time that industry is supposedly down, they are demolishing brand new stations to bring them up to date.

I think people are way too excited about what is still a gas station, so I get your point, but relative to the norm, they're incredibly clean.
