I was driving on a road and a deer was running full speed and ran into my passenger door and rolled back and fricked up my entire passenger side. It flopped around a while on the road and then flopped into the ditch nearby. I went looking for it with no luck. Totally still a hit and run.

Ohhhh yeah. I think this is the same color too.

The guy at the place told me "I have two reservations in here for you, one is for standard and the other is full size" and I said "well, just give me the better one of those two"....I didn't realize better = minivan.

I think I'm going to have a compact for a day and then move up to a standard car or something. I'm not driving a minivan

Their eyesight is average. Sense of smell is phenomenal but they are much smarter than most people think

I felt too bad to be like "ohhh hell no" after I was all like "give me the better one". I'm sure someone visiting NOLA with a group would have loved to have a minivan. There was a cute little Jetta out there. I should have asked for that.

you are way too passive

rental companies don't usually care

I usually ask what they've got to offer and choose. They're good about that.

Which is why I quizzed her when she said the deer "ran into her car" as she was just driving along minding her own bidness....

True

I was driving and a wasp flew in the window yesterday and hit me in the lip (didn't sting) and then I looked down and it was crawling on my leg. No idea how I didn't run into the ditch. I turned into a mega bitch quickly

I'm serious! The point of impact is my front passenger door, I even had a guy stop behind me and give me his contact info for my insurance because "he saw that deer hit me".

Body shop just called and said it was $5000 worth of damage. Damn deer. Thankfully it's under my comprehensive coverage. This is my 3rd hit and run I've been a victim of in 3 years.

You're driving a minivan?

I would've laughed in his face and said nope
