I don't get it. I understand that it is off of the theme song and the main character makes really dumb puns. But I see the meme being inconsistently used. Is it "person says something intended to be funny and fails" "person responds YYYEEEEAAAHHHH"?

I had a stage on here where I would do nothing but these.
I was the only poster that would put the correct spacing between the setup, sunglasses, pun, and yeaaaah graphic.
My best ever one was one that went sooo under the radar, but was fantastic.
It was about some lady in a Sonic getting into trouble with the law.
My joke was "looks like she's not having..."
"a Blast."
