This thing could go in forward, and reverse, and had rubber tires.

This thing had just as much street cred as the Millenium Falcoln.

$200+ on eBay. I'm pretty sure they were $12 back in the day.

For my birthday one year, my mom let me choose between Bigfoot and a kiddie pool. I chose the kiddie pool that I played in for 1 afternoon. Worst decision ever. Ive always regretted not getting that Bigfoot truck.

It is interesting to me how Gen X is spending real money to buy back toys they had in their youth.

I'm always tempted to. Just yesterday I was searching eBay for my Dark Crystal lunchbox that I had Kindergarten-2nd grade. Going for $50-$70. LINK

Holy ducking shite! I had one of those! You could also buy those flimsy plastic cars for it to run over too. Damn, you brought back some good memories!

Construx were legit, too.

EDIT: This inspired me to go check out 80's toys on e-bay. Jesus H. Christ, I wish I would have saved all of that junk. I could have made a mint.

Construx had badass commercials. It's good marketing when the commercials are still in my head 30+ years later..
